Terms of Service

Gated scans MCP servers and agent configurations and returns findings with reproductions and remediation guidance. Findings are informational. Gated helps you identify gaps in your MCP security posture; it does not guarantee that a target is secure, compliant, or free of vulnerabilities, and it does not make you compliant with any standard.

You may only scan targets you own or are authorized to test. Submitting a scan is your attestation that you hold that authorization. You are responsible for any scan you run. See the Authorization Policy.

You’re responsible for your account, your organization’s members and their roles, and keeping credentials secure. Notify us at security@gated.cc if you suspect unauthorized access.

Don’t use Gated to scan targets you aren’t authorized to test, to break the law, to attack or disrupt the service, or to reverse-engineer it except where that right can’t be waived. Don’t resell the service without a written agreement.

Paid plans (Pro, Team, Enterprise) are billed as described at checkout or in your order. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with notice for upcoming terms.

Our handling of your data is governed by the Privacy Policy and Security page. You grant Gated the rights needed to process scan data to provide, operate, secure, and improve the service.

Gated and its content are owned by us. Your data and your scan results are yours. We retain rights to aggregated and derived insights used to operate and improve the product.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that findings are complete or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gated is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You can stop using Gated anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections that by nature should survive termination do.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated, and continued use after they take effect means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by the laws stated in your order form or, absent one, the jurisdiction where Gated is established. Mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction still apply.
